scaffold board shelf

hi
I thought i'd show you the scaffold board shelf my partner steve put up for me
the board was left by the builders, when we had work done on the roof.
steve sanded  it down for me then I painted it with a white wash,
the brackets I got from ebay for £12.00
there was 4 but we only needed to use 3.

so in all the shelf only cost £12.00.

I was only going to photograph the shelf
but max cat happened to be there.

you can also see the little draws & carousel
I covered with paper just to add a bit colour.

thank you for looking
& for any comments you may leave.

  15. Hi Sue, that's a great use of a scaffold board - very well done! I never would have guessed what it was if you hadn't said. It's amazing what you can do with some old bits of wood. We get some old wood locally for burning in our wood boiler and my husband is always scavenging bits for making gates and chicken runs lol! Couldn't help drooling over your button jars. They are wonderful! Maddy x
